The NCI publishes in-depth fact sheets on specific cancers, including information about diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. This page includes fact sheets about diet and nutrition as well.

NCI PDQ Cancer Information

The NCI publishes in-depth reports on specific cancers, diagnosis and treatment (including integrative approaches). The landing page also provides detailed information about who is editing these reports and what evidence they use to evaluate recommendations. (Ignore the “for health professionals” headline; as you link through, you will find reports written for patients which may be easier to read.)

NCI Adult Cancer Treatment (Alphabetical by Diagnosis)

This page has a long list of specific cancers, arranged alphabetically, with links to information written for patients and professionals. You can access both types of reports, but the patient information may be easier to understand. The health professional version will include more statistics and summary of the studies used to back up diagnostic or treatment recommendations.
